The America Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section has designated the third week of October as a time to promote and celebrate peaceful conflict resolution practices worldwide. Please join us in participating in the ABA Mediation Week initiative through a discussion with Hon. Jamie Jacobs-May (Ret.), JAMS mediator, about “Identifying and Overcoming the Barriers to Successful Resolution of High-Tech Disputes: Employment, Trade Secrets and More."

This program is designed to give attorneys practical experience in mediation when dealing with the challenges and complexity of high-tech related disputes including issues such as:

  • Uniqueness of goals to be achieved in intellectual property disputes 
  • Psychological principles at play
  • Generating creative options 
  • Effective advocacy at mediation
