Ms. Houghton, RN, MFT, Esq., will discuss how children – ranging in ages, abilities and variations of needs – are “seen” through the eyes of the various professionals who are involved in their lives and how that view is highly dependent on the “lens” through which we are viewing the children. 

Ms. Houghton will explore the practical “nuts and bolts” of working with these families will shed clarity on what is often a murky area, where myth and misinformation abound. 

This practical and interactive presentation will include guidelines and caveats about interpretation of behavior; confidentiality and disclosure; and the need for both collateral information and special expertise in certain cases.
