This seminar will provide a soup-to-nuts review of key areas of construction law, including:

  • construction contracts for residential remodels (the Home Improvement Act and Right to Repair Act),
  • key clauses in large-scale residential and commercial construction contracts (including project security, delay and liquidated damages, indemnity and more),
  • construction bonds and insurance,
  • and mechanic's liens and stop notices.

This seminar is targeted at construction lawyers who would like a refresher on current developments, as well as non-construction lawyers who want to eliminate their "blind spots" when they encounter construction law issues.

Presented by an enthusiastic panel of construction lawyers who have worked on projects big and small.
