  Michael Reedy is a partner at McManis Faulkner. He solves legal problems in many forums, but focuses primarily on family law, appeals, and civil litigation. He has represented family law clients for over 22 years, while developing expertise on the anti-SLAPP law, which protects the rights of free speech and petition. Mr. Reedy practices in state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate levels. Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as a paralegal on antitrust and energy issues for over 10 years.

Mr. Reedy is a frequent lecturer and panel member on the nature and evolution of the anti-SLAPP suit law. He is a member of the American Inns of Court, the Honorable William A. Ingram Inn, and served on a team of lawyers, judges and law students that won a prestigious First Place award from the American Inns of Court in 2010. Mr. Reedy currently serves as Secretary of the Ingram Inn. He is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and serves on its Appellate Courts Committee. In addition, he previously served as a board member of the American Civil Liberties Union, Santa Clara County Chapter. He serves as a board member at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View.

Mr. Reedy earned his J.D. from University of San Francisco School of Law and his B.A. from Stanford University.
